Our Story
I started Vittoria because to me fashion was getting boring.
I miss when fashion felt fun. The bold colors, prints, unexpected shapes, fun accessories, and pieces that could make an entire outfit. I miss when something could be functional, well made and stand out.
As trends have become more modern and simplistic, it feels like everything has slowly started looking the same. And don't get me wrong I love a good basic. I just don't want everything in my closet to be.
Handbags especially have always been my first love. If I'm going to spend money on anything, it's probably going to be a bag. But something that used to be so much fun for me to shop for started feeling… boring.
I kept noticing that whenever we wanted something different, we were looking backwards. Searching for vintage designer bags, shoes, clothes, etc. We're constantly searching the past for the creativity and personality that we're missing now.
I don't want to keep going backward to find it. I want to create what's next.
That's where Vittoria comes in.
The name is just as personal to me. Vittoria is the Italian form of Victoria, named after my late cousin, Victoria. Naming the brand after her gives me a way to carry a piece of her with me through something I love.
When I think of her, I think of someone vibrant, funny, full of personality, and unapologetically herself. I was young when I lost her, and there are things about her I understand and appreciate differently now that I'm older. Looking back, one of them is how confidently she was simply herself.
And that's exactly what I want Vittoria to represent.
Pieces that have personality. Pieces that are functional, thoughtfully made, and actually fun to wear. Pieces for people who don't mind standing out even when everything around them is starting to look the same.
Designed for personality. Made for confidence.
